(no subject)

Pictures of me are almost non-existent, and the ones that do exist, I don't put online. But one of my favourite artists, Scott Burdick, created the painting that became my very first userpic... and one of his other paintings is as close to being a picture of me as I'm willing to show to anyone. So... new userpic. :)


Hrm. While I appreciate the compliments, let me say that this pic is not me; just fairly close. I wear eyeglasses, and that makes a difference. Also, I don't generally wear my hair that way unless I'm all dressed up. Sorry, utsuri, but my hair hasn't been longer than shoulder-length since I was twelve. :) Right now, it's in braids, but it's much more likely to just be pulled back from my face with a hairband or something, or clipped back on one side if I'm wearing it the way she is. One of these days, I may post a pic of the real me, but till then, this is almost-me. :)

Interesting - and amusing.

With two exceptions, (can't remember exactly when they added me) my "friends of" list had been unchanged for the last month. Yesterday, I posted my new, more-accurate userpic. As of right now, I've been dropped by four people, none of whom have been very close to me, none of whom I have dropped or had any real interaction with, negative or positive, in the last two weeks.

Something to think about, no?
