I'm seriously addicted to the lot of you, each for different reasons. But I miss you when you're silent, and keep reading 'cause, well, I'm hooked on hearing about your lives and learning how you think and feel. :)

I know, I'm the same way with the 33 people on my Friends list and most of the additional 33 who put me on their Friends list. But how can you keep up with so many?

Part of it is just being an avid reader. But part of it is just prioritising, too. I read my friends page back as many entries as it takes to catch up, then if I need to or want to, I'll got to specific journals to make sure I've caught everything that's going on. Most of you aren't having real problems on any given day, so it's not that time-consuming to follow up with those who are if I have anything I feel I need to say. After that, I go back to the amusing posts, and respond to them. I don't respond to everyone on every day, that would be overload. Besides, it'd be forced. Nor do I post every day. But if I do post, and someone responds, I give that conversation priority if I'm at all up to carrying on a conversation. Honestly, I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have so many people with whom I could interact. :) You keep me from going stale and getting turned inward too much.

As it is, sometimes I stare at my friends page waiting for someone to say something. And then I'll forget about it and agonize about going back 20-30 potentially long entries to catch up. timing, timing, timing. :)

20-30 entries. *laugh.* On a normal morning, I have to read about 120 entries back on my friends page to start overlapping what I've already read. If I've been away for most of a day, it might be as much as 200 or so.
