This one... I have no idea why I like it, but I do. It's very clear that I'm playing today, I think... that's the only thing I've bothered to save.



Things have been strange and generally-not-good just lately. And I'm not up to long entries or even much concentration on anything in particular right now. So if I don't post for awhile, that's why... I've really not got much to say. But I'm still reading, of course. And for now, that's enough.

I'm a dilettante... had it not been pretty, I wouldn't have ever begun. :) In any case, why not take it up again? It's bound to be a lot easier now than it was then.

Why not? Time, mostly. I work at a computer all day, so I'm not terribly excited about computer hobbies. I think quilting fills up my need for creating beauty.

Ahh. And with me, it's exactly the opposite... quilting would be endlessly interrupted, and that would drive me out of my mind. (short trip as that might be, I think I'll skip it awhile.) So the computer is perfect.. nothing lying around for anyone else to interfere with.

Yeah, I can see that. I have the unimaginable luxury of a room that my stuff stays undisturbed in. I suspect that will be an odd kid-change. No more leaving my rotary cutter lying around.

Making them, with a little program called Ultra Fractal. The learning curve is a little steep, but it's worth it.. give it a try. :)
