In this section MAPP presents your top 20 (I included only 10) occupational titles with the highest motivation and greatest potential for the individual's success. When people are searching for careers or being considered for jobs, this list of the top occupations should be given serious consideration.
1 Secretarial: clerical; minor executive assignments 1
2 Corresponding: prepare, edit, send communications 1
3 Musical, Creative: compose, arrange, improvise 1
4 Customer Services: clerical, duplicating, sending 1
5 Creative Writing: author; imagination, vocabulary 1
6 Instructive, Fine Arts: drama, art, music 1
7 Radio, TV Announcing: poise, vocabulary, delivery 1
8 Musical, Vocal: singing, choral, solo; public 1
9 Musical, Instrumental: professional potential 1
10 Dramatics: interpret, portray roles 1
... funny. Customer service, writing, corresponding, clerical... those I either can see myself doing or have done. I'd love to teach. But it's startling to see them include those very public roles: radio, TV announcer? Me? Erm. And my last brush with public singing was chorale/choir in college. Solo? ... umm, no. As for the music and drama, I established pretty early on that I'm never going to be more than "very good." Supporting roles, accompaniment, yes. Beyond that? I have serious doubts.
