You know, I can't decide whether I am more amused or horrified by the fact that, at least twice in each shift, a pilot will fail to figure out how to open the little boxes in which the airline room keys are kept.

These people operate equipment worth more money than I like to think about.

I'm just sayin'.

I recommend staying with amused: definitely healthier. ;)

also keep in mind that they tend to be highly trained on those machines they operate on, regardless of natural (or lack thereof) ability.

maybe they undergo rigorous psychological conditioning to not tinker with boxes. ;)
