This is the last wordcount post you will see from me. (Yes, I know I said I wasn't going to keep track of it since it's all mixed up, but... it now stands at 50,217.) Some of that doesn't count in my mind because it was pre-written. And the story isn't anywhere near finished. But I figured 50,000 was worth noting. Goodbye, NaNoWriMo. See you next year, maybe. I'll keep posting snippets here, of course. And at some point, it's all going to make it to my prose section. But probably not for another month or four yet -- I want to finish it, and I don't intend to post some of this hastily-written, "quantity-over-quality" garbage as is... so editing is very much in order.

I didn't last year ... I had to this time around. *grin.* Today I proved that I didn't lose the ability to churn out a 10,000 - word paper in a matter of hours. I've gotten no sleep, and I'll be a wreck at work if the high wears off, but it was worth it. Now to *finish the story.*

Good job. I crashed and burned, didn't do any writing this month at all...but I'm not giving up. Somehow my throw-away idea is turning into a real one...So I just might start having my own fictional snippets in my LJ, one day soon. ^_^

I am so looking forward to reading it in sequence.

Grats:) I have over 10k to go and 3 days left. Methinks I procrastinated myself into a hole. I did homework that way 30 years ago, maybe I can do this too heh.

I'm happy for you in any case. It's quite an accomplishment with or without editing.
