*nnggg.* Remind me never ever to leave my machine running while I'm at work, hmm?

And does anyone know how to change which search engine site is used as default from the address bar? Mine which was previously MSN.com has been hijacked by Xuppa, which gives me pop-ups and tried to replace my homepage. I kept it as MSN only because it was convenient to have something other than google there, since google was my homepage, but xuppa has to go.

Correction: xupiter.

well, first I'd recommend switching to Mozilla (1.2beta is quite stable) from IE. (see mozilla.org)

but... you know, I don't know. My best guess at the moment is:

Tools->Internet Options -> Programs -> Reset Web Settings

(says it resets default "home" and "search" pages...)

I don't see anywhere to set the search page, though. :/

Found it. In IE, open a search with the search button, then click "Customize" in the search pane. Enjoy.

Xuppa is probably one of those "viral advertising" things that invaded your machine with another install... you will likely have to uninstall a program to get rid of it, if you can. Search the web for help on how to remove it.

Netscape or IE? Which version?
