In other news... I downloaded and filled out the application for a use and sales tax number, and also filled out the DBA/Assumed name paperwork. The former got mailed out this afternoon, the latter has to be notarised and delivered to (or simply notarised at) the Registrar of Deed's office in Smithfield. So I guess that's a task for when there's a car available at home.

DBA/Assumed name paperwork == fictitious business name paperwork sort of thing?

I've been meaning to get a business legitimized for a while now, though it's a little silly when I can't focus on it yet. and I'm really not good at getting off my ass.

DBA == Doing Business As. I'm trying to hold myself to the mark on this, not let it slide or procrastinate awfully. I know what you mean about lacking the motivation - so much easier to drift. ;)
