I count four official entries to the LJ analyser poetry contest. That makes judging pretty much a moot point - I certainly have the time and inclination both to do fractals with every one of you four, if you would like. :)

It is, of course, your choice. But I liked the fact that more people shared their results than actually entered, and I think I like the idea of there being no losers in the contest even better. What say you? :)

Since I'm not a paid_member, I didn't get to use the actual "analyser". However, I did compile and run jamie zawinski's "dadadodo" program (which is what is doing the actual "analysing") on my own journal. Then I made a CGI so I could store "profiles" of someone's writing and generate text whenever I wanted on the web. Wanna see?

My first reaction is to note that you are far too industrious for your own good. My next was to play with your CGI and lose track of what I started to say. This was the first thing. Guess what I'm going to go do now? ;) Thank you for the neat toy. :)

You, carouselrose, minn, and baxil all turned in valid poetry entries. In truth, i also has a valid entry, if he chooses to use it... "for me" still amuses me. And I'm curious enough to collaborate with him that I hope he does choose to use it. (no pressure here. none. really.) ;)

Bah. :) to use someone else's paid account for the entry, take the link I gave, and plug the username into the "paid_username" part, after the "?"

I probably should have given better instructions, hmm? I'm sorry - I just figured everyone had seen the toy and played with it by now.
