I've said it before, and I'll say it again: blaming this disaster on one man is the height of foolishness, and only sets us up for future failures of the same or greater magnitude. Grievous mistakes were made from the top down all the way to the lowest cops on the street, and only a holistic comprehension of the clusterfuck that was Katrina can begin to instruct us in how to avoid future recurrences. Scapegoats are great for venting anger, but they do not solve the problem.
