After that, I had to go look up the movie to make sure it was what I was thinking of. Fan isn't quite the right word as I don't tend to fan about _anything_, but I definitely appreciated it; despite my _strong_ aversion to social awkwardness (in real life, but _especially_ in movies/television), I found the movie very powerful, very worth watching; and your quote brought a lot of that back quickly. :)

Also somewhat manic at the moment and for the past day or so.

It's based on the true story of Carl Brashear, the first African-American to become a deep-sea diver in the US Navy, the first man to return to full and active duty as a diver after an amputation, and the first African-American to become a Master Chief diver.

Yeah. :) I've seen the movie about a dozen times, and it still gives me goosebumps. It's really very well done.
