God's Own Party?

For the record, I want the two maps verified for accuracy, and if he's correct, I want that image for a T-Shirt.

I'm just sayin'.

Edit: And it looks like his tracking of Charley is wrong -- the center passed over three Democratic counties, Osceola, Volusia, and Orange. Oh well.

The paths of Charlie and Frances are correct. The Ivan path is not. That is the path the National Hurricane Center predicted about 36 hours prior to landfall. It ended up coming ashore about 20 miles west of the Florida border in Alabama. However, those counties in red around the path did, indeed, take a beating worse than anywhere in Alabama, as they were in the right front quadrant of the storm.

ooh, also, it's a bit off, as St. Lucie county got hit worse than anyone else from Frances. Right front quadrant again.

Yeah. He's tracking just the exact center of circulation. The eyewall did pass over st lucie county, as did parts of the eye. But not the exact center.

It's still one of the coolest maps I've seen in awhile.

So is this one: LOOK! I MAY GET SMACKED BY JEANNE AFTERALL! http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ftp/graphics/AT11/refresh/AL1104W5+GIF/220253W5.gif
