kuangningI've been drenched in silence these last few days... saturated with it even as I surrounded myself with your words. And that's okay, I'm discovering. Sometimes, it's okay, to just let myself be surrounded, to choose not to drop my own thoughts into this sea of words... to float, and rest.
You are amazing. Did you know that? In between laundry and dishwashing, tending plants and music, I keep getting drawn back to listen, to watch. Sometimes I wonder if you know -- if anyone, really, ever knows -- how deeply you affect people. I wonder if anyone ever really has an accurate picture of how many people s/he affects. Somewhere there's a child, logging on at home, fascinated by the home life stories of Seren or someone like her. Somewhere there's a teenager who's reading along with Abby's entries and knowing exactly how she feels. Somewhere, someone's tasting Lisa's words, making moonlight dates with Carol, curling up with pjammer's thoughts while the rain falls outside. And I can't imagine anyone walking away from those experiences untouched.
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you, today.
