Darn it, now I want it too! It's miserable being a computer geek and an artist.

I'm not bragging, but I have one of them. They're not that hot. Go with the Wacom. The hyperpen doesn't allow you to flip the pen and have an eraser which is what Wacom does (at least in Adobe Photoshop). The hypperpen is also thicker (and more uncomfertable for me at least) grip and the side buttons are hard and unnatural to push. I've worked with with something along the lines of a 12"x12" wacom and it was heaven and going down to my 4"x6" Hyperpen is painful. I also get random noise in my mouse movement when I hover some times and I'm not sure if it's because Aiptek uses a different way than Wacom (it requires batteries, blah) or it's just the size difference...
But it's so worth it. Pay the $80s or whatever buy the darn thing.
Oh and sorry for the randomness of this post... I don't know you, I just saw referance to a tablet and couldn't help myself :)

I have a Wacom, an Intuos.

I got the 12 X 12, because it was the same price as the 9 x 12, becuase they don't sell the 9 x 12 without the stupid mouse. It's a little large and unweildy on the desk.

But oh. My Intuos. *pets* Is so nice.
